<strong>Manuel Gilbert.-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>LA PUNTILLA, Puerto Plata.-<\/strong> El Alcalde Roque Garc\u00eda reconsider\u00f3 su decisi\u00f3n de retirar el servicio de seguridad que prestaba la Polic\u00eda Municipal a la puntilla del malec\u00f3n, el anfiteatro y los dem\u00e1s atractivos que existen en ese maravilloso espacio de la ciudad de Puerto Plata.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El anuncio de la decisi\u00f3n de Garc\u00eda recibi\u00f3 la aprobaci\u00f3n de la mayor\u00eda de los puertoplate\u00f1os, pero una parte de la poblaci\u00f3n desaprob\u00f3 la medida, por considerarla retaliatoria, su remoci\u00f3n como presidente del Patronato de la puntilla.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En su lugar fue designado mediante el Decreto 117-25 del Poder Ejecutivo como director ejecutivo al arquitecto Manuel Dur\u00e1n, bajo el pretexto de que bajo la condici\u00f3n del Patronato de la puntilla, Roque Garc\u00eda descuid\u00f3 el mantenimiento del Anfiteatro Puerto Plata y se deterior\u00f3 mucho.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con el retiro de la Polic\u00eda Municipal el atractivo tur\u00edstico que constituye una de las m\u00e1s atractivas ofertas complementarias del destino Puerto Plata qued\u00f3, al igual que los visitantes de ese lugar, a merced de delincuentes y eso produjo alarma de sectores vinculados a la industria sin chimenea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La inmensa mayor\u00eda de la gente piensa que no se puede degradar a alguien que fue degradado de presidente del Patronato y se le confiri\u00f3 la posici\u00f3n de miembro honor\u00edfico, mientras al nuevo Director Ejecutivo, se le otorg\u00f3 un salario mensual, se le concedi\u00f3 todo lo recaudado por concepto de la venta de boletas a los visitantes a la Fortaleza Colonial San Felipe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trascendi\u00f3, sin confirmaci\u00f3n, que Turismo entregar\u00e1 fondos millonarios, se cuantific\u00f3 la suma de dinero a entregar en m\u00e1s de RD$30.0 millones para rescatar la puntilla del abandono en que est\u00e1 sumida.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, el ministro de Turismo, David Collado, ha prometido destinar fondos adicionales para contratar artistas para que act\u00faen en el escenario del Anfiteatro Puerto
