Y debemos garantizar que cualquier acci\u00f3n de cumplimiento respete el debido proceso, proteja a las familias y no recurra a la intimidaci\u00f3n ni a la fuerza\u201d, declar\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cUna ciudad verdaderamente justa protege a los vulnerables. No los deporta, los detiene sin claridad ni los priva de sus derechos. <strong>Los neoyorquinos deben unirse, ahora m\u00e1s que nunca, para defenderse mutuamente\u201d, <\/strong>a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La concejala Sandy Nurse record\u00f3 por su parte que el NYPD tiene prohibido colaborar con ICE en la aplicaci\u00f3n de leyes migratorias civiles, y<strong> exigi\u00f3 que la ciudad d\u00e9 el ejemplo en materia de respeto a los derechos constitucionales.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Su colega <strong>Shahana Hanif calific\u00f3 como \u201cinaceptable\u201d la respuesta policial <\/strong>y critic\u00f3 que la actuaci\u00f3n del NYPD presuntamente allanara el camino para t\u00e1cticas del servicio federal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cNuestras comunidades inmigrantes merecen seguridad y dignidad, no miedo\u201d, manifest\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Organizaciones comunitarias que estuvieron en la protesta tambi\u00e9n criticaron el despliegue policial.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yesenia Mata, directora de La Colmena, sostuvo que las acciones vistas durante la protesta <strong>confirmaron que Nueva York rechaza la presencia de ICE y que la comunidad est\u00e1 preparada para resistir cualquier intento de intimidaci\u00f3n. <\/strong>Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, pese a que el NYPD insiste en que no colabora con las autoridades federales de inmigraci\u00f3n, el trato hacia los manifestantes evidenci\u00f3 lo contrario.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"moz-reader-block-img\" src=\"https:\/\/eldiariony.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/New-York-Immigration-Coalition-ICE-2.png?fit=675,475&amp;crop=0px,0px,675px,475px\" alt=\"\" data-src=\"https:\/\/eldiariony.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/New-York-Immigration-Coalition-ICE-2.png?fit=675,475&amp;crop=0px,0px,675px,475px\" \/>\n<figcaption>Los manifestantes pidieron la liberaci\u00f3n de los ciudadanos detenidos el s\u00e1bado. c\u00f3mo ICE separa a las familias y da\u00f1a nuestra econom\u00eda local. <\/strong>No nos detendremos hasta que ICE est\u00e9 completamente fuera de nuestras calles\u201d, denunci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde Make the Road New York, su subdirectora Natalia Aristizabal pidi\u00f3<strong> liberar a todas las personas detenidas el s\u00e1bado <\/strong>y reiter\u00f3 que la ciudad no debe apoyar operativos que contradicen sus valores de santuario.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enfatiz\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que los manifestantes ejerc\u00edan su derecho a la libre expresi\u00f3n y que fueron tratados como una amenaza.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLa respuesta del Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Nueva York de intensificar las tensiones, la violencia y realizar arrestos, todo para despejar el camino para ICE, <strong>va en contra del esp\u00edritu de las leyes y la cultura de nuestra ciudad. <\/strong>El NYPD debe liberar a todos los neoyorquinos arrestados y dejar de facilitar las acciones de ICE\u201d, Manifest\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El colectivo Hands Off NYC tambi\u00e9n rechaz\u00f3 tanto el intento de redada como los choques con el NYPD, y afirm\u00f3 que <strong>continuar\u00e1 organizando redes comunitarias <\/strong>para responder a este tipo de situaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n<div
