style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Hig\u00fcey, La Altagracia.<\/strong><\/em> -La <strong>Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (Edeeste)<\/strong>, junto con la <strong>Procuradur\u00eda General Adjunta para el Sistema El\u00e9ctrico (Pgase)<\/strong>, inform\u00f3 que contin\u00faa desmantelando conexiones irregulares mediante amplios operativos de inspecci\u00f3n en establecimientos comerciales, en esta ocasi\u00f3n en el sector <strong>Villa Francisca, municipio Hig\u00fcey, provincia La Altagracia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan estimaciones realizadas por personal t\u00e9cnico de Edeeste, el <strong>Hotel Don Pedro<\/strong> dejaba de facturar aproximadamente <strong>45,478.35 kWh,<\/strong> lo que equivale a un monto cercano a <strong>RD$ 627,610.66<\/strong>, en perjuicio del Estado dominicano y de la empresa distribuidora.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante el operativo, en el que tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 la <strong>Superintendencia de Electricidad (SIE),<\/strong> las autoridades detectaron graves irregularidades en la acometida el\u00e9ctrica del Hotel Don Pedro, evidenciando una manipulaci\u00f3n intencional del sistema de medici\u00f3n con el objetivo de ocultar el consumo real de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Pgase, la SIE y Edeeste se\u00f1alaron que estas conexiones fraudulentas, realizadas por grandes consumidores comerciales e industriales, constituyen una violaci\u00f3n directa de la <strong>Ley General de Electricidad 125-01<\/strong> y un atentado contra el sistema el\u00e9ctrico nacional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las autoridades resaltaron que, durante los \u00faltimos meses, la Pgase, en coordinaci\u00f3n con la empresa distribuidora, ha liderado extensos operativos en la provincia La Altagracia, logrando desmantelar numerosas conexiones clandestinas en establecimientos de distintos rubros, los cuales han sido debidamente notificados, sancionados y sometidos a procesos de normalizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Pgase, la SIE y Edeeste reiteraron su compromiso con la estrategia nacional de cero tolerancia al fraude el\u00e9ctrico, al se\u00f1alar que esta pr\u00e1ctica no solo afecta las finanzas del sistema, sino que tambi\u00e9n provoca sobrecargas en la red de distribuci\u00f3n, reduce la calidad del servicio y encarece los costos operativos, impactando de forma injusta a los usuarios que cumplen con sus obligaciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En ese sentido, exhortaron a la poblaci\u00f3n a denunciar, a trav\u00e9s de los canales institucionales, cualquier acci\u00f3n ilegal que afecte el sistema el\u00e9ctrico, en especial las conexiones irregulares de ciudadanos y empresas.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained
