Mientras que en comparaci\u00f3n con el total nacional de 2,774,442, la provincia recibi\u00f3 el 79%.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las cifras del 2025 representan un crecimiento de cerca del 6% con relaci\u00f3n al 2024 a nivel nacional, a\u00f1o en que se recibieron 2,626,529 visitantes para un aumento neto de 147,193 visitantes adicionales, de acuerdo a las estad\u00edsticas que compila el Banco Central.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los dem\u00e1s puertos recibieron 581,102 visitantes por v\u00eda mar\u00edtima, de los cuales, 275,191, llegaron a La Romana, 157,373, al Puerto Cabo Rojo en Pedernales, 59,988 a Saman\u00e1 y 14,374 a Isla Catalina.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cabo Rojo lidera el crecimiento interanual al pasar de 27,793 en 2024 a 157,373 en 2025.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Llegadas a\u00e9reas<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las llegadas se turistas por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea se mantienen fluctuantes en la provincia, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, en 2025, baj\u00f3 un 8% con relaci\u00f3n al 2024, al recibir un total 387,905 no residentes frente a 420,348.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el rengl\u00f3n mas espec\u00edfico de \u201cextranjeros no residentes\u201d, mientras en 2024 se recibieron 381,980, en 2025 fueron 348,491.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">A pesar del argumento generalizado de que la provincia necesita el desarrollo de nuevas propiedades hoteleras para crecer en la llegada de turistas, de acuerdo a los datos del Ministerio de Turismo, Puerto Plata registr\u00f3 el pasado a\u00f1o una ocupaci\u00f3n promedio de 58%, por debajo de la media nacional del 71%, y de Romana, Bayah\u00edbe, que fue de 85%.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El porcentaje ocioso de 42 % refleja
