Jos\u00e9 de Le\u00f3n.<br \/><br \/><\/figcaption>\n<\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<strong>Estar\u00e9 montado en el Metro el 24<\/strong>\u201d, expres\u00f3 el jefe de Estado, al reiterar su compromiso con la supervisi\u00f3n directa de los proyectos de infraestructura impulsados por su gobierno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El anuncio del presidente coincide con las declaraciones ofrecidas la semana pasada por el\u00a0<strong>ministro de la Presidencia, Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Paliza<\/strong>, quien hab\u00eda informado que el sistema del Metro de Santo Domingo comenzar\u00eda a operar en la L\u00ednea 2-C\u00a0<strong>antes del 27 de febrero<\/strong>, de acuerdo con el avance de los trabajos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<strong>El tren va a comenzar a operar<\/strong>\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Paliza, al asegurar que todo indicaba que la l\u00ednea estar\u00eda en funcionamiento previo a esa fecha, en beneficio de miles de ciudadanos del Gran Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El funcionario reconoci\u00f3 que la construcci\u00f3n de esta obra ha tenido un\u00a0<strong>impacto significativo en la ciudadan\u00eda<\/strong>, especialmente en los residentes de las zonas intervenidas, debido a la magnitud de los trabajos. Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que se trata de una de las\u00a0<strong>infraestructuras m\u00e1s grandes y costosas<\/strong>\u00a0asumidas por el Estado dominicano en materia de transporte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La L\u00ednea 2-C del Metro de Santo Domingo busca mejorar la movilidad urbana, reducir los tiempos de desplazamiento y fortalecer el sistema de transporte masivo,
