{"id":189847,"date":"2026-02-14T11:33:23","date_gmt":"2026-02-14T15:33:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infoelnuevonorte.com\/?p=189847"},"modified":"2026-02-14T11:33:25","modified_gmt":"2026-02-14T15:33:25","slug":"endocrinologos-alertan-sobre-venta-ilegal-de-medicamentos-e-intrusismo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infoelnuevonorte.com\/?p=189847","title":{"rendered":"Endocrin\u00f3logos alertan sobre venta ilegal de medicamentos e intrusismo"},"content":{"rendered":"<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-189847-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/infoelnuevonorte.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ttsmaker-vip-file-2026-2-14-11-32-48.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/infoelnuevonorte.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ttsmaker-vip-file-2026-2-14-11-32-48.mp3\">https:\/\/infoelnuevonorte.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ttsmaker-vip-file-2026-2-14-11-32-48.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p id=\"m46977-46976-46978\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>La Sociedad Dominicana de Endocrinolog\u00eda y Nutrici\u00f3n<\/b> (SODENN)<b> expres\u00f3 su preocupaci\u00f3n<\/b> ante la<b> comercializaci\u00f3n ilegal de medicamentos de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n,<\/b> c<b>omo los agonistas del receptor GLP-1<\/b>, los cuales \u2014seg\u00fan advirti\u00f3\u2014 est\u00e1n siendo vendidos sin prescripci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, falsificados o introducidos de manera irregular al pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"m46982-46981-46983\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">El presidente de la entidad, <b>Willians De Jes\u00fas Salvador,<\/b> hizo un llamado a los especialistas a indicar exclusivamente f\u00e1rmacos aprobados por el Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica, tras detectar productos en presentaciones irregulares que se ofertan en el mercado negro a altos costos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"m46987-46986-46988\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Asimismo, <b>al dirigirse al presidente del Colegio M\u00e9dico Dominicano, Luis Pe\u00f1a N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/b>, el especialista <b>advirti\u00f3 sobre el crecimiento del intrusismo profesional<\/b>, se\u00f1alando la aparici\u00f3n de supuestos \u201chormon\u00f3logos\u201d sin acreditaci\u00f3n formal en endocrinolog\u00eda ni pertenencia a la sociedad cient\u00edfica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"m46992-46991-46993\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">En ese contexto, anunci\u00f3 que SODENN emitir\u00e1 un comunicado oficial y gestionar\u00e1 ante las Administradoras de Riesgos de Salud (ARS) para que \u00fanicamente endocrin\u00f3logos debidamente certificados puedan prescribir y autorizar estos tratamientos.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"c-detail__destacado\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">52 a\u00f1os de trayectoria<\/span><\/h3>\n<p id=\"m46997-46996-46998\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Las declaraciones fueron ofrecidas en el marco del <b>52 aniversario<\/b> <b>de SODENN, fundada el 12 de febrero de 1973<\/b> por un grupo de m\u00e9dicos visionarios encabezados por los <b>doctores S\u00f3crates Ma\u00f1\u00f3n Alc\u00e1ntara y Antonio Zelman Geara.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"m47002-47001-47003\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Durante el acto conmemorativo, la entidad <b>reconoci\u00f3 <\/b>a tres pilares de la especialidad, como son el <b>doctor Antonio Selman, la doctora Corina De Jes\u00fas y el doctor Yulino Castillo<\/b>, por sus aportes al desarrollo de la endocrinolog\u00eda en el pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"m47007-47006-47008\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">En su intervenci\u00f3n, De Jes\u00fas Salvador resalt\u00f3 los principales hitos institucionales, entre ellos la consolidaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica de la especialidad, la realizaci\u00f3n de congresos cient\u00edficos, publicaciones especializadas y el fortalecimiento de su estructura organizativa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"m47012-47011-47013\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Como parte de la celebraci\u00f3n, anunci\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n de dos nuevos galardones: <b>el Premio Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n en Endocrinolog\u00eda \u201cDra. Corina De Jes\u00fas\u201d, <\/b>que ser\u00e1 entregado en el Congreso Nacional de Endocrinolog\u00eda y Nutrici\u00f3n 2027, y <b>el Premio Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n en la Diabetes \u201cDr. Antonio Selman\u201d.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"m47017-47016-47018\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Este a\u00f1o, por consenso, el Premio Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n en la Diabetes \u201cDr. Antonio Selman\u201d ser\u00e1 otorgado al doctor Jaime Davidson, en el marco del Curso Davidson-Mestman Dominicana, que se celebrar\u00e1 por primera vez
