{"id":219893,"date":"2026-05-20T15:11:23","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T19:11:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infoelnuevonorte.com\/?p=219893"},"modified":"2026-05-20T15:14:51","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T19:14:51","slug":"ministro-kelvin-cruz-completa-entrega-de-rd893-millones-al-cod-para-preparacion-de-atletas-rumbo-a-santo-domingo-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infoelnuevonorte.com\/?p=219893","title":{"rendered":"Ministro Kelvin Cruz completa entrega de RD$893 millones al COD para preparaci\u00f3n de atletas rumbo a Santo Domingo 2026."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/infoelnuevonorte.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ttsmaker-vip-file-2026-5-20-15-10-36.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">La quinta partida fue de RD$150 millones y completa el aporte destinado a la preparaci\u00f3n de la delegaci\u00f3n dominicana.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Santo Domingo.\u2013 El ministro de Deportes, Kelvin Cruz, entreg\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles RD$150 millones al Comit\u00e9 Ol\u00edmpico Dominicano (COD), correspondientes a la quinta y \u00faltima partida para la preparaci\u00f3n de los atletas dominicanos que participar\u00e1n en los XXV Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe Santo Domingo 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Durante un acto celebrado en un hotel de la capital, el ministro Kelvin Cruz hizo entrega de los fondos al presidente del COD, Garibaldy Bautista, completando as\u00ed RD$893 millones destinados a la preparaci\u00f3n y el montaje de la delegaci\u00f3n nacional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Cruz expres\u00f3 que \u201ccon estos RD$150 millones completamos las cinco partidas que suman RD$893 millones, con los cuales se han cubierto con antelaci\u00f3n todas las etapas de preparaci\u00f3n de nuestros competidores, quienes defender\u00e1n nuestros s\u00edmbolos patrios en casa\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">El ministro tambi\u00e9n revel\u00f3 que los fondos ya fueron desembolsados a la cuenta del COD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cNo es que vamos a esperar que llegue la Contralor\u00eda, el cheque o el tr\u00e1mite burocr\u00e1tico; es que ya los fondos est\u00e1n en la cuenta del Comit\u00e9 Ol\u00edmpico Dominicano. Con esta entrega sumamos un total de casi RD$900 millones, que, si no es un r\u00e9cord, representa un gran avance para el deporte dominicano\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Asimismo, destac\u00f3 el firme compromiso asumido por el presidente Luis Abinader para garantizar que todo transcurra conforme a lo programado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Explic\u00f3 que Abinader \u201cha sido el responsable de que estos fondos est\u00e9n disponibles en el momento oportuno para darles el mejor uso posible\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cQue nuestros atletas est\u00e9n \u00fanica y exclusivamente concentrados en su preparaci\u00f3n, en sus fogueos y entrenamientos. Que cuenten con los mejores entrenadores posibles, para que, a partir del 24 de julio, podamos mostrar la mejor versi\u00f3n del deporte dominicano y que los representantes de los 36 pa\u00edses que nos visitar\u00e1n conozcan el verdadero Pl\u00e1tano Power al enfrentarse a la mejor delegaci\u00f3n deportiva de Centroam\u00e9rica y el Caribe\u201d, manifest\u00f3 Cruz.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Previamente, el Ministerio de Deportes hab\u00eda erogado RD$743,650,000 en cuatro partidas destinadas a esos fines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">De su lado, el presidente del COD, Garibaldy Bautista, resalt\u00f3 la importancia de recibir los aportes econ\u00f3micos en el tiempo oportuno. \u201cTenga usted la seguridad, se\u00f1or ministro, de que estos recursos ser\u00e1n utilizados de la manera m\u00e1s eficiente posible\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3 Bautista.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Se espera la participaci\u00f3n de unos 850 atletas dominicanos en los XXV Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe Santo Domingo 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Durante el acto tambi\u00e9n estuvieron presentes representantes de distintas federaciones deportivas, quienes resaltaron la importancia de recibir los recursos a tiempo para garantizar una adecuada preparaci\u00f3n de los atletas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Desde enero de 2025, el Ministerio de Deportes duplic\u00f3 el sueldo de los atletas pertenecientes a las selecciones nacionales, con el objetivo de que su preparaci\u00f3n para los juegos no tenga distracciones ni contratiempos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Los XXV Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe Santo Domingo 2026 se
