Revel\u00f3 que L\u00f3pez fue seleccionado por un jurado, del cual \u00e9l forma parte, adem\u00e1s de integrar el Bur\u00f3 Directivo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dentro de los \u00e9xitos cosechados por L\u00f3pez, quien tambi\u00e9n es Inmortal del Deporte Dominicano est\u00e1n el ser electo como el Jugador M\u00e1s Valioso del McDonald\u2019s All American (juego de estrellas entre jugadores de escuela secundaria de toda la naci\u00f3n) y en la universidad integr\u00f3 el Quinteto Todos Estrellas en Conferencia Big East en 1997 y 1998.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">L\u00f3pez fue reclutado en primera ronda, puesto 24 por San Antonio Spurs en el sorteo de la NBA en 1998 y transferido de inmediato a los Grizzlies de Vancouver.
