Los pacientes describen que se sienten completamente incapacitados por el temblor, lo que hace que actividades b\u00e1sicas como caminar o sentarse sean casi imposibles.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El temblor violento suele ir acompa\u00f1ado de debilidad, fiebre y escalofr\u00edos, lo que hace que las personas se sientan agotadas y paralizadas.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un paciente comparti\u00f3 su terrible experiencia con The Monitor, una revista local de Uganda: \u201cMe sent\u00ed d\u00e9bil y paralizado, y mi cuerpo temblaba sin control cada vez que intentaba caminar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estos relatos ponen de relieve la naturaleza debilitante de la enfermedad, que afecta no solo a la salud f\u00edsica, sino tambi\u00e9n a la vida cotidiana y a los medios de vida.<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Respuesta m\u00e9dica e investigaciones<\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Dr. Kiyita Christopher, funcionario de salud del distrito, afirm\u00f3 que se han enviado muestras de los pacientes afectados al Ministerio de Salud para su posterior an\u00e1lisis.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hasta el momento, la enfermedad sigue bajo investigaci\u00f3n y los expertos en salud est\u00e1n trabajando para identificar su causa.
