De ese monto, <strong>RD$27 millones<\/strong> fueron destinados a la cobertura del <strong>seguro de vida<\/strong> de los pensionados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este beneficio es un derecho adicional a la <strong>pensi\u00f3n militar<\/strong>, calculado con base en los a\u00f1os de servicio. Se trata de un fondo acumulado con aportes del propio sueldo durante la vida militar activa, aplicable a aquellos que hayan servido por m\u00e1s de <strong>10 a\u00f1os ininterrumpidos<\/strong> en las <strong>Fuerzas Armadas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La entrega de los cheques estuvo encabezada por el <strong>ministro de Defensa<\/strong>, <strong>teniente general Carlos A. Fern\u00e1ndez Onofre, ERD<\/strong>, acompa\u00f1ado por oficiales del <strong>Estado Mayor General de las Fuerzas Armadas<\/strong>, el director del <strong>ISSFFAA<\/strong> y el presidente de la <strong>Junta de Retiro y Fondo de Pensiones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/NDIGITAL.b-cdn.net\/FEBRERO%202025\/Pensionados%20Militares%202.jpeg\" width=\"827\" height=\"551\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante el acto, Fern\u00e1ndez Onofre resalt\u00f3 que, desde <strong>septiembre de 2024<\/strong>, el <strong>ISSFFAA<\/strong> ha desembolsado m\u00e1s de <strong>RD$1,027 millones<\/strong> en pagos por este concepto, beneficiando a <strong>1,424 militares retirados<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, asegur\u00f3 que <strong>ya no hay deudas pendientes<\/strong> relacionadas con estos pagos ni con otros beneficios del ISSFFAA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cTomaremos todas las medidas necesarias para garantizar condiciones dignas para nuestros miembros activos y retirados\u201d<\/strong>, afirm\u00f3 el ministro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/NDIGITAL.b-cdn.net\/FEBRERO%202025\/Pensionados%20Militares.jpeg\" width=\"873\" height=\"581\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este pago est\u00e1 contemplado en el <strong>art\u00edculo 169 de la Ley Org\u00e1nica de las Fuerzas Armadas (No. 139-13)<\/strong>. Seg\u00fan la <strong>circular No. 1-2025<\/strong> del <strong>Ministerio de Defensa<\/strong>, la compensaci\u00f3n por retiro debe entregarse en un m\u00e1ximo de <strong>12 meses<\/strong> despu\u00e9s de que el interesado haya depositado los documentos requeridos por el <strong>ISSFFAA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este beneficio aplica \u00fanicamente por <strong>cada a\u00f1o de servicio ininterrumpido<\/strong> dentro de las <strong>Fuerzas Armadas<\/strong>, al momento del retiro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las autoridades reiteraron su compromiso de seguir cumpliendo con los derechos de los militares retirados y garantizar el bienestar de quienes han servido al pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Ministerio de Defensa, a trav\u00e9s del Instituto de Seguridad Social de las Fuerzas Armadas (ISSFFAA), entreg\u00f3 RD$515 millones a 628 militares retirados como parte del pago de sueldos por cada a\u00f1o de servicio ininterrumpido.
